Okay. So. Yes. I'm totally a dual shipper as well. I was bawling in New Moon (I'm sure it didn't help any that I was having a massively down day, depression wise, when I read Edward leaving.) and I got a lil misty a few times in Eclipse.

My nitpicks -- one is fandom related. I've seen people sing Edward's virtues, and proclaim him to be "perfect" ... and then slam Jacob for the exact same things that they say make Edward perfect. That bugs me. Neither one of them is perfect, and those flaws are what make it so much more real and endearing.

On her site, Stephenie says that in Eclipse, Bella finally fully comprehends the price for becoming a vampire. I ... really don't think she does. She might understand fully that there are people in her life she'll be giving up and never seeing again. But that's really just one small part of it all.

If Edward really wanted to dissuade her from becoming a vamp -- it seems like, to me, there's one thing he could've done. He could've/should've explained to her more about feeding. She knows he hunts animals, and drinks blood. But I don't feel like she comprehends the actuallity of hunting/killing/feeding/etc.

Also. Okay. The sight/smell of blood makes Bella nauseous. Is it just me -- or does it seem like that could make for some interesting problems when she first turns, until she learns to deal with it fully?
