a music question...

you all know i listen to VH1 radio almost every morning. well...i keep hearing a song by Muse called Time is Running Out from the album Absolution. so this is a question for all you people that know/like/love Muse. do you think this album will be something i like? are the other songs on the album similar? i know i originally heard about them years ago from Dean, but i never really checked them out.

input would be greatly appreciated. i'm currently stuck on the song Good Man from 3eb's latest album Out of the Vein. there's just something about Stephan's lyrics and vocals that i adore.

Absolution is Muse's worst album, its so fucking whiney! There are a couple of songs on the album worth listening to, but to be honest the first couple of albums are much much better, i think anyway. So go for either 'showbiz' (the first album) or the second one which i can't remember the title of dammit! not sure what the third album 'Hullaballoo' is like.

i've only got absolution. but i think it is very good. ridculously over the top and very good for the drive home from work. and for stupid dancing. though not at the same time.

I don't have this album, just Showbiz. I love that one. It's like this song, but with a little cleaner, less distorted sound. Kind of a poppy Radiohead feel to it. I bought it used for one song and loved the album.
