Joss fanboys over Veronica Mars.

it is amusing to me that it's taken this long for Joss to find and gush over a cult hit on a teeny network. hopefully this will convince more Whedonverse fans to check out the show. if the stunt-casting of Aly Hannigan didn't work, maybe Joss gushing will.

is there even anyone left on my flist who hasn't given this show a try? even if you tried it and found it wasn't your thing, it still counts that you watched. hmmm...you probably wouldn't tell me if you haven't, huh? oh well.

I don't think anyone on my FL would dare speak out against VM. They would be in "discussion" with me for so long it wouldn't be worth it!

I've watched VM twice now, and after the second time, count me in as a fanatic. It's such an enjoyable show. I've already started plugging it to my friends, although god knows when it'll hit these shores...

I must start making VM icons this weekend.

I went to the site and found it there. Cool! They quoted it on one of my HP sites, too, and loads of people were like 'Hmmm, I should start watching VM...' *g*

honestly, i think this show is one that needs to be watched from the beginning to truly appreciate the characters. and this is very much a character driven show.

I'm still waiting for a French channel to pick up the series... I signed the petition and everything!

I haven't seen it yet. I hope it does get shown over here eventually, it does sound good.

If it doesn't make it to TV here before I get a bigger hard drive, I'll burn you some DVDs of the show. At the moment, I can't burn more than one episode per DVD, and that seems like a bit of a waste. Last I heard it was going to be on LivingTV, but who knows how long that will take?

What did you think of Lost, btw?

The first two episodes were very good. Very impressive. I liked the way they set things up and the scenery (and the people) *g* were beautiful. I'll definitely watch next week. I'll just have to see if they can keep the quality up.

The quality does stay at the same level throughout. I've seen the rest of the series already, and quite enjoyed it. I look forward to seeing if they actually find any answers to the mysteries next season.

I haven't tried it yet, mainly because I keep forgetting it is on.

Plus, they are rerunning ever season of The Amazing Race on GSN. It is on every night, so that is another hour of TV that I have been sucked into.

This! I watched it once (an atypical episode from what I understand, in which Veronica tries to save rich boy from a cult which mostly isn't). I liked it fine. I am pathologically incapable of remembering to tune in.

Wednesday night, I found it at 8:52. It's like a sickness, Buffy. I would watch it, or at least give it a go, if I could remember to do so at the right times. I just can't.

like i told paks, this show really is one that needs to be watched from the beginning. it's too much of a character driven show to just jump in the middle(which is what you did with that ep. it was number 9.)

i heartily recommend that you give it a try when the dvds come out. set your TiVo to record the new series and then get the dvds when they come out in october. you won't be disappointed. i promise.

Hmmm...I think I've got the main plot lines covered in terms of which eps I've seen already. The finale is on a tape somewhere around here. I will just buy the DVDs in October. :)

i would say that you should try again, but you don't dl and i can't let my dvds out of my sight until i get the official copies in my hot, little hands. this show is a must watch from the beginning. at least in my opinion.

OK, I´ll admit I haven´t seen it, and probably won´t. I have no control over the remote in my house, and take off too often for other countries where *gasp* Veronica Mars does not exist. Well, and we have no TV here so it might exist but I wouldn´t know. Still, it sounds good, and someday I might sit in a bean bag with Sarah and give it a try. There is hope for me yet!!

I haven't seen it, but that's because it's not on over here. I promise that when it comes out on DVD I shall rent it & watch it.
