shit. i just checked TiFaux to see what was coming on tonight and saw that UPN was rerunning Donut Run tonight in my market. this led me to hitting "Day +" on my remote to obsessively check that the new ep was set to record. this leads to my breakdown...

I'M BEING PRE-EMPTED FOR THE FIRST FUCKING TIME EVER!!!! ARGH!!! it's not even a tennessee team!! it's fucking kentucky!! who cares about kentucky?!?! guess i'll have to resort to pigeons because i'm not waiting until saturday to see the ep. no way, no how.

carpedi7, roniabirk and lenabee i'll be relying on you guys to keep the comm under control until i can see the ep because i don't want to be spoiled. even if it appears that it's going to be a filler ep.

gah. can't believe i'm getting pre-empted. (yes, i was one of the lucky few who never had Buffy/Angel pre-empted for any reason.)

It could be worse. I hear some networks are pulling UPN programming all together. (friends in La Crosse, WI are complaining about that) And then there are some of us who don't get UPN at all. =pouts=

already? really? that's crap. i'd hate not having the opportunity of seeing it live. the pigeons aren't always reliable. case in point, i still can't seem to get ahold of The Office eps 5, 7 and 12.

VM pigeons* are pretty good, 'specially with the most recent ep. I yoinked DR Friday night - because my Wednesday reception was flickery, and my TV disappeared Thursday, ergo, no repeat viewage - and it came down at about 150 kb/sec - I had it in about an hour.
