i'm done!

i have achieved my goal of watching 100 movies in 2007!! yay!! i even have two days to spare to watch more than that if i so choose. it was really touch and go there for a while on whether i'd actually get this accomplished. i really fell behind after the middle of the year. i enjoyed doing it though. i like being able to go back and see what movies i've seen this year and how i felt about them. i may do it again next year.

now i suppose i should choose a favorite. it's kind of tough, actually. there were many that i would never watch again(though for differing reasons), but there were also plenty that i ended up watching more than once this year. i really don't think i could choose between Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang and The Departed as my favorite. very different movies, but both fabulous. honorable mentions go to Zodiac and Stardust.

Yay you! I wish I hadn't been so damn ambitious and made my goal 150, because I'm at about 108 now. Next year, I'm downgrading to 100 :)

Zodiac love! I was so bummed that they decided to hold the Director's Cut dvd release until January 8th. I wanted to bug someone to buy it for me for Christmas.

I love RDJ and I can't believe I haven't seen Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang yet. That's definitely on the schedule for 2008.

i'm finding myself pretty alone in loving Zodiac. so it's good to see someone else loved it too. i'm kind of excited for the director's cut. Fincher made a pretty solid case for who the killer was. i'd like to hear how he came upon all the evidence. have you seen The Zodiac? if not, don't. it's awful.

RDJ and Val Kilmer together is pure magic and you must see KK, BB!

Congrats! That's so impressive-- I gave up in the summer, becauseI couldn't keep track. And OMG, I LOVE Troop Beverly Hills! One of my favorite guilty pleasure movies. :)

I saw both of your favorites this year as well, and loved them so much. I think The Departed is one of my all time favorites though...
