VM

rewatching An Echolls Family Christmas. still one of my favorite episodes ever. the most remembered quote from this ep is "Annoy tiny blonde one! Annoy like the wind!" however, i crack up every time at logan's comment to connor while they're sitting at the pool table. "oh my god. does the soapbox come with the SAG card?" i love it and it's so true!

also dled the new promo for next week's ep. it's actually a promo with a deleted scene from Normal is the Watchword and it explains quite a bit from the Donut/Veronica/Logan confrontation scene by the bus. if you want to see it, go here. i am greatly amused and cursing the fact that we don't get a new ep this wednesday.

Whee! I ♥ AEFC.

At least we'll get the 2x06 promo next week, even if we don't get a new episode. Luckily, after that we'll get 4 new eps straight through November sweeps.

me too!!

that clip i linked to is for the new ep. at least, i'm pretty sure it is. i do believe Donut is channeling Tom Cruise...

Actually, that was the "public declaration" that was supposed to be in NitW. They cut it before the premiere. It's right before V/D run into Logan & Meg and get on the bus. Check the outfits.

hahaha!! you are totally right. that's hysterical and explains Donut's arm raise in the aired episoe and Logan's super snarky response to them.

these must be the sides i see everyone talking about that i refrain from clicking on. willpower. when did i get it?

We didn't get casting sides for that scene, only a one-sentence blurb about it over at NeptuneSite. We weren't exactly sure what it would be like. Something like that wouldn't be in sides because the scene doesn't contain any new characters that need to be cast.

Logan's reaction makes a lot more sense when you know what was actually going on in the script.

"Public Declaration"? Wait. Are you talking about the Duncan singing that was supposed to happen? I thought that was supposed to be on the bus...

The spoilers never said where it was supposed to take place, but if you watch the ep and watch the scene, it's pretty clear that's what it is. They removed the entire scene in a chunk, then cut to Logan's "Ah, young love" reaction with Meg walking past them.

The "singing" part was something that was speculated by fans based on Duncan's weird movements in the original promo (which didn't make it into the episode). We weren't exactly sure what he was supposed to be doing.

Ahhh. I see. Thanks for clearing that up.

HAHA! I just got done watching AEFC myself!

I will never get tired of that episode. Seriously, I think it most be my most favorite since there is no other ep I can think of that I have watched nine times. It's just my good mood pill ep. I watch it whenever I need to be cheered up and it works everytime.

That soapbox line? I get that stuck in my head for weeks on end. Just the inflection JD uses in that line. SO memorable....

What's this about a deleted scene? Is that the promo for this week's repeat of NitW? It doesn't have anything from the new eps coming up right? I want to be sure. I'm neurotic like that. ;)

Oh, God. LOVE the Tom Cruise impersonation:)
