fantastic!

i have seen The Christmas Invasion and it is good. i'm no longer worried about loving David Tennant as the Doctor. he was fantastic. i miss Christopher Eccleston, but i don't think i'll mourn him for long.

UKers, is Torchwood premiering in the spring too? i don't wanna wait until the spring for more Doctor/Captain Jack goodness. want. now!!! (and by spring what date are they tossing about?)

hmmm...guess i need to rotate some tennant icons in.

I can't find an exact date for Torchwood but according to what I found it'll be shown in the autumn next year.

This might interest you. Its an official dvd type commentary for the Christmas Invasion you can get from this page here,

I love this show so much. Eeeee.

They were attacked by a Christmas tree, Christy. A CHRISTMAS TREE.

OHMIGOD!!!! Was that awesome or what? Tennant defiinitey has the Doctor's quirkiness down, but builds on what Eccleston has laid down. That was great! I cannot wait until the season starts!

I'm taking my tree down...now!!!! :)

And yeah...how many times can you say "Torchwood" in 45 minutes? But I'm also looking forward to that!

*applauds* whichever kindheartd fan spent time on Christmas Day to get copies online for American freinds to download!

As far as airing dates go, off the top of my head, they're talking April for the second series of Doctor Who - though a late March start wouldn't surprise me (thats what they did with the first Series).

I think they start actual work on Torchwood sometime in the new year, and my best guess for it's airing would be sepetmber-ish... in any case, highly unlikley it will air until after the second run of Who has ended.

I'm so glad you enjoyed David Tennant, I was sorry to see Chris go too, but having seen David in a number of other things I was pleased when they announced he would be taking over.

I'll keep an eye out and let you know if I see any Torchwood filming going on over the next few months, and I'll get pics if possible too. BTW, I don't know if you remember but back in the summer I posted a rather bad picture of a Dr Who set being constructed near where I work? Well, if you do, that set was the Christmas stalls where Rose and Mickey were first attacked by the Santas.

Oh, and thanks for the e-card! It was really nice.
