i have done jack all today. mostly catching up on some dls. just finished ep 12 of The Inside. nice little shoutout to Rob Hall/Almost Human in that one. next ep is the one with William Mapother as the 900 lb man, right? excellent... not so excellent that it's the last episode of The Inside ever though. *sigh*

also watched the Doctor Who premiere. i'm 100% positive i'm going to love David Tennant as the Doctor. it's possible that i love him more after seeing Casanova, but i can't really say for sure. i'm really excited to see more Rose/Doctor adventures. gotta say i'm not loving Sci-Fi's representation of last season. they're cutting things out. i hate that. i hated it when FX did it to Buffy and i hate it even more that they're doing it to the Doctor.

now i'm going to start watching a canadian show that was recommended to me. it's called Slings and Arrows and has Rachel McAdams in it. so i'm there.

i'm also extremely tempted to watch some season one VM. as i told

It shocks me to hear that Sci-fi are editing Who... Why on earth wouldthey do that? It's not like there is any "unsuitable content" in it - I mean it airs at 7pm over here!

Lentgh wise, the ressucted new series was kinda deliberately crafted in 44-ish minute chunks so it could be slot neatly into the common intentaional airing practices of having 25% of each *hour* filled with commercials.

So do Sc-Fi show more commercials than other TV channels, and therfore ned to trim minuts of Who, or have they just gone bonkers? Weird.

I vote for bonkers. They can't be squeezing in more than one extra 30-second commercial with the content they edit, and they're just editing out awesome lines. They edited out Cassandra's quip about "Toxic" being a traditional Earth song of lament, or however she phrased it. Why? Whyyyyyy?

Yeah, go for VM - It's really good. I saw season one, exept being the lazy-ass that I am, I'm waiting for season 2 to come out on DVD so I can watch it when I feel like it.

Dude. Slings and Arrows is kickass! I'm only sorry they're only doing three seasons (we're done Season Two up here). Keep an eye out for Don McKellar (he plays Darren Nichols). He's in my harem. *g*
