nothing is ever easy!

gah!! i can't get the damn dvd burner to work. the door won't even open. so i don't know what the hell i've done wrong or if it's the dvd burner.

the requirements say i need 512 MB of RAM and 10GB of HD. do you think that could be my problem? help would be greatly appreciated at this juncture. nothing i'm doing is working. i really want to start burning some of this stuff off of my HD.
