something i don't like about the new portal/my lj thing is that the birthdays are on GMT time, which means if i wait around until oh say...now, i have to go to the birthday page to see whose birthday was today my time. there should be a way to change the time on there like we can do for comments now. the portal used to have the birthdays listed in normal time. i don't know why they changed it. (yes, the lj portal has been around forever. they disabled it about two weeks ago and i'd been going nuts without it. i'm glad it made a new and improved return.) now that i'm done bitching. birthday wishes.
