I was on a hockey board (in case you haven't noticed, I love hockey...more than hamburgers but less than sex) and I saw a topic I really really a lot wanted to post on, so I registered and expected to jump right in there and just gab.

The following day, I was finally given permission to post, and the conversation had moved on.

I mean, it's entirely possible I could have provided world changing insight, but I couldn't do it because someone had to manually approve my posting status. I might have somehow saved the world, but I never had the opportunity because of this, and now we'll never know.

Oh, and if you have any remote idea what the hell I'm saying, please let me know...

It took months for me to get approved. But they were having server issues at the time.
