What are you doing on January 14th and 15?

I know what I'll be doing. I'll be attending Alamo Drafthouse's First Annual Veronica Mars Marathon. All Season 1 episodes will be shown, back to back, because that's the way we roll in Austin, Texas. And there will be a couple of special guests to watch Season One with us! That's right, Rob Thomas, Kristen Bell, Jason Dohring and Enrico Colantoni will be hanging out with us, all day and night (and next day!), watching VM, answering questions, and just generally chilling with the fans. A 24 hour lovefest, but without the orgies.

But that's not all! Oh, no. What would a Veronica Mars Marathon in the last week of winter haitus be without the WORLD PREMIERE of the brand new episode, written by Rob Thomas himself, on Sunday the 15th, days before its air on Wednesday? Well, it would rock ever so slightly less, wouldn't it?

So, those are the facts - the tickets will be going on sale on Friday, December 2nd at 5pm. I think they'll be 30 dollars for the marathon and 15 dollars for the world premiere party on Sunday. You'll have to check the website for official details.

Now. Doesn't that kind of rock your socks?

OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!!!!!!!!!!!! must go. flights are....reasonable. i can totally do this. even better? chi2cali and i already looked at flights together and our layovers are both in DFW and we could take the same flight into Austin. wheeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! i'm so doing this.

Heh, I was just checking into flight prices. I can totally take vacation days around then, so that is all good. And prices are really reasonable. Hell, if someone wanted to drive down with me, I'd totally drive it. Of course, the only way driving would save money is if someone did drive down with me. Find a couple of people to share a hotel room with (or see if my friend Meg wouldn't mind if I crashed with her non-VM watching self). Very do-able.
