You are completely right :) And must say you conveid (sp) your opinion perfectly. That being said, I did prefer Obama somewhat, as I thought McCain would change nothing, wouldn't live out his term, and then you would have Palin. ANd don't get me started on her.
This being said, I hope that Obama won't fail miserably. Not only did he promise a lot, a lot of his being being picked I think, has to do with the fact that your country seriously has gone to hell the past 8 years and people are so desperate for better times, and change that they had to pick him because Obama has been portrayed as the great new hope. Expectations will be HUGE and there is no way the current problems are going to be fixed in the next 4 years. It'll get worse . Taxes will rise no matter what was promised, gas prices will definetly go up. Unemployment will rise, and your economy will fall.
But I hope that people will see through this, and realise this is a neccessary downswing, and that your country can rebuild as a whole.
Except for all the people in california who voted against gay marriage , they should die a painfull death :)
