I never really caught on to Gossip Girl during season one. Not because I was opposed, but just because I was probably busy or distracted or whatever.

But I sat down to watch it one night with my daughter and the line, "knight in shining Armani" was said. And the reading was perfect and it was so fun. And I've been watching it ever since.

Plus, all the guys - Rufus, Dan, Nate and Chuck - are all so very pretty.

I guessed the surprise ending. Well, the Rufus and Lily thing. But I could never have imagined that Blair would actually say it then and there. It was perfect and then so not perfect.

Ed Westwick did well in tonight's show.

Gossip Girl was so great last night (except for the ferret Aaron). I thought Ed was fantastic - great job showing tortured angst. And that beautiful scene where Blair comes in the room and holds him while he leans into her . . . . . . . beautifully lit and acted.
