so i just found out on the Buffista board that...Jewel Staite was going to play Eric's evil ex. this is what i love about ME people. they're freaking loyal to the core.

as i just said on the board, damn FUX! damn them to that special hell that Shepherd Book referred to. *shaky fist*

yes, i won't be getting over this anytime soon. i could deal with losing Buffy and Angel, but to lose Buffy, Angel, Firefly and Wonderfalls all in the span of two years is just too much. that's too much quality television gone in the blink of an eye. wake the fuck up americans! we're being fed "reality tv" because it's cheap to produce and they make a killing with ad time. stop watching!!!

*thunk*thunk*thunk*

DAMN STRAIGHT! (about the reality TV)

i hate it, its so stupid, and yet it makes it on season after season when all the great TV shows are being canceled.

thats just crazyness.

damn damn FOX, damn them all.

i had just got my sister to watch the show and like it too, why the hell are the canceling it...

stupid people, maybe they should have tried putting it on at a decent time slot, like not up against CSI or the Apprentice (althought i have to say why anyone would watch the apprentice over wonderfalls is beyond me), or on Friday nights at 9 when no one is home.

ugh evil fox.

Oh, duuude! That would have been so freakin' cool!

We MUST find a way to get those other nine episodes. We'll start with the postcard campaign. We've got something of a shot....either get them broadcast on another channel or get us some DVDs.

And if that doesn't work?

Well, I'm all up for a fancy-shmancy break-in of FUX studios and reprogramming their scheduling computers. Then locking it all in under a Skynet-esque security program that only goes Terminator-homicidal on people who don't watch Wonderfalls.

i feel all bad, most of the reality tv crap in the world at the moment, is spawned by one company ; endemol productions..which is...dutch, we then sell all this crap (big brother, idols, fame academy etc etc ) to every other country, resulting in debatable reality tv all over the world

Right there with you.

Reality TV? Do they realise that by following this trend TV is going to just die out? (Or rot peoples brains...one of the two).

With the exception of one or two British comedy shows, I'm fast running out of having any television to watch at all!

and Jewel Staite *siiigh* Hope Minear can get that DVD release (since I've given up on network television having common sense enough to pick up good quality TV)

At least a third of the pilot breakdowns for this pilot season were for hosts for reality TV. And there were fewer episodic pilots than anyone in the offices of both coasts could remember.

And just as bad, everything that's out there this pilot season is another rehash of something that's already on the air, or a remake of an old show. There's nothing new, different, original- not one script struck me as witty, smart, or interesting. When I read the script for "Wonderfalls" months ago, I was thrilled! On paper, it was amazing- and then to see the outcome, well-cast, well-acted, well-directed.

Bottom line- this sucks beyond the telling.

Add to that list of unfortunately cancelled shows in the last two years, Greenwalt's masterpiece: Miracles and his fun Jake 2.0.

And of course this (Wnderfalls) happened while I was wading through the hours and hours of stuff on the (Great cancelled show) Freaks and Geeks DVD set.

Oh, and they cancelled Playing it Straight too. Oh, wait, that was a good thing.

I'm nearly ready to give up on new television. Especially witty, brilliant, wonderful shows that never even get a decent chance because of all the reality crap they're putting on the teevee. It SUCKS. Programming executives must really think that television viewers don't have brains.
