pssst...all you talented icon makers, i have a favor to ask. would it be possible for you to make me (an) icon(s) with the following Prince & Me pictures? i'm completely and utterly obsessed in case you hadn't noticed. :D

i was trying to finally figure out how to use brushes, but i have Photoshop 5.5 and most brushes are for 6.0 or higher. blah.

anyway...pics here, here and here. i will be forever grateful. *vehement nodding*

I had already planned on doing a few Prince & Me icons this weekend, so I'll gladly do a few more, especially sicne those are such good photos :) DO you have an idea in mind of how you want them to look or any particular text you want to see?

Most brushes ARE for photoshop 6 and higher, but you can also download the "image packs" that most of the brush makers also post and use that to make a brush by opeing the image and going to edit>define brush preset> (it might be worded a little differently in 5.5, but you should still be able to do it). You can probably also "acquire" a newer copy of PS if you are so inclined ;)

PS. The coloring on your eljay is gorgeous :)

i honestly have no idea. colors that would go well with my layout are a plus, but not a necessity. as for text, it's my worst enemy. so i was going to leave that to the icon maker's descretion. also? can't wait to see your P&M icons. wheee!!!

Text is my worst enemy too, especially when I haven't even seen the movie yet :P But I will probably look up lyrics for music on the soundtrack and see if I can get some ideas that way :)

Last I looked, Suprnova.org had copies of photoshop CS... takes awhile to download, but it can be done and is probably more reliable than trying to get it through Kazaa.

hmmm...yeah. there is that. ;) best songs on the soundtrack are josh kelley's everybody wants you, marc cohn's man of the world and i hope that i don't fall in love with you, and katy fitzgerald's it doesn't get better than this. :)
