according to 90% of the posts on my flist today, i'm stupid or i suck. all righty then. i'll try to remember that.
here's a tip, just because someone doesn't share the same views that you do does not mean that they are a bad person. differences is what makes the world go 'round. if we were all the same this would be a very boring world. certainly not one i'd want to live in.
quite frankly i am offended by some of the posts i've seen from people i consider friends. if Kerry had won, i would not be calling the people who voted for him stupid. i would wonder why they voted for him since i never understood his appeal. other than him being "anyone but Bush" for a lot of people. BUT i would never have insulted my friends that voted for him.
just food for thought.

Date: 2004-11-03 10:27 am (UTC)I don't agree with the "omg Bush won therefore most Americans are stupid!" sentiment either. Yet that's what I've been reading all over LJ today. Quite frankly, I'll be happy when this election stuff is over. I realized yesterday that I know NOTHING about Canadian politics but I'm always debating about American politics because it's ALL OVER the internet and our news and EVERYWHERE. And that's not a good thing.
