NORM!

i'm totally laughing my ass off. almost every morning i stop at Sonic(for those who don't know it's a fast food restaurant that is very retro in that you have car-hops that bring the food to your car though this one also has a drive-thru) to get a very large sweet tea to last me the entire day. they have the best sweet tea and it serves as my daily caffeine intake.

well...i was wondering when they'd finally say something and today was the day. i pulled up and instead of asking to take my order the guy says, "good morning." i reply with "good morning". he says, "would you like your sweet tea?" and i laugh and say yes. i drive up to the window laughing and he says, "we've got you hooked on that tea, don't we?" and i tell him absolutely. after he gives me the tea he tells me to have a nice day and the he'll see me "next time". lmao...i'm totally the Norm of Sonic.

Being a regular is fun. There's a local Chinese restaraunt where I'd ordered the same thing so often that once, when meeting friends there for lunch, they told the waitress I was coming and when I got there my lunch was already on the table.
