i just asked a customer for his credit card number for an order he was placing. his reply? "do you need the whole thing?" ummmm... what do you say to that? "no, just give me the first and last four digits." or maybe, "nah. in fact, if you want to just make up the numbers as we go along, that'd be fine too." WTF? is there any place in the world that wouldn't need the full card number? customers are stooooopid. seriously.

On a serious note, if i have ordered somewhere before, they often just ask me for the last four digits of my cc# to confirm it's actually me doing the ordering... not sure if that would apply to this situation...
