I wanted to give you all an update on my sitch. Your prayers and well wishes are working, so please keep them up, as I'm no where near out of the woods yet, but I did get some good news today. On Tuesday I went in to the ER with breathing issues; which turned out to be nothing serious, but they did another CT scan on me, to see what the tumor was doing. It turns out that (since it had been fluid filled it had actually moved my brain over quite a bit, and they had not been able to drain all of the fluid) but when they checked the new CT scan from Tuesday, the rest of the fluid had disapated and it now had moved over to where it might be operable so they had me run up and get an MRI (which is more detailed) today with about 15 minutes of notice. (With all these tests I feel like a guinea pig, and I have more holes in me from IV's and shots than a pin cushion, but it's worth it if it lets my children have a mommy) We find out tomorrow if it is operable or not.
The pathology has also come back, and it is a grade 3, not a 4. Thank God! That is the difference of 6 - 9 months (grade 4) and 1 - 2 years (grade 3), but with longer time, I have more of a chance for the other treatments to put it into remission, or with God willing, cure it. It is funny, before this religion was more of a minor part in my life, but now, I go back to my early teachings (I was a catholic school girl ;-) ) But I wanted to share the news, and again, thank you all for your support!
