i have a fandom-wide question. i've seen fic supporting this and i've also seen character names lists saying it too and i'm wondering if i missed the memo. i tried to look out for it while rewatching the season, but the only thing i came up with was a "bro" mention in A Trip to the Dentist.

can someone tell me if Dick and Beaver are, in fact, brothers? and if so, what episode we found this out in...or maybe it's just an interview i missed.

it's driving me nuts. help a nutty girl out.

I don't think there is hardcore textual evidence that they're brothers, but I think on the UPN website (or some other site of official capacity), Beaver is listed as a Casablancas. Everything else is just circumstantial, I guess. I think I just assumed he was his little brother, the way he looked and the way they acted together.

hmmm...well at least i don't have to feel completely crazy. i've never really visited the UPN site except to watch the previews for the next week's episodes.

it does make sense that they're brothers because of the way they acted. not to mention that it doesn't reall make sense for Beaver to be a popular 09er on his own merits. if that makes sense...

He is listed as "Cassidy 'Beaver' Casablancas" on imdb.com. Granted that they aren't the be all and end all of tv facts, but they usually get it right. As was mentioned above, we don't get a specific mention that proves beyond a doubt that they are brothers. But they do act like it.
