RIP

the news of Peter Jenning's death has left me feeling very sad. he's the only national news anchor that i ever enjoyed watching. i grew up with this man. his coverage of 9/11 was the only one i watched. unlike most anchors, he wasn't afraid to show his emotions on the story he was covering. his very un-stoic-like attitude during 9/11 was refreshing and endearing.

i'm really going to miss him. hell, i've already missed him being on the Nightly News.

RIP Peter. i'm glad you're no longer in pain.

I know. When I was reading about it, early this morning, I thought I'd have to turn on the news, and then realized that in my head, my expectation was to tune into Peter Jennings. :(

I feel the same way. I was heartbroken last night when I learned of his death . There was just something about that man.

I, too, feel the same way. I grew up with him and depended on him. His 9/11 coverage is what I remember.
