for those who know
ladymyst, you know that her cousin was aboard Flight 93. tonight on the discovery channel there is a documentary about the events that unfolded on that plane. they talk to some of the surviving family members and
ladymyst's family is pretty heavily featured.
seeing her name and seeing her family recounting their last conversation with her was enough to end the numbness that had seemed to take over me. i ache for the families who lost someone that day. it was also very satisfying to see the reenactment of the passengers fighting back. they truly are heroes and deserve to have a memorial in their honor just as much as everyone who died at the WTC and the Pentagon. so please go to honorflight93.org to contribute what you can. the site is very slow right now. probably because of heavy traffic.
ladymyst, if you're out there reading, i miss you and i hope you're well. *smoooooooch*

Date: 2005-09-12 12:50 pm (UTC)last night. i did see the beginning bits, but didnt think that
i could handle watching the whole thing. i cant believe it was
4 years gone already. i dont think that day will fade for
many people any time soon.
i have heard that the memorial site of the crash is quite nice.
a couple of family members have gone up to it recently and said
how touching it was to see it. hope LadyMyst is doing okay.
