i haven't really posted my excitement about Serenity's upcoming release, but i am. VERY excited. it is awesome that Universal is promoting the hell out of it. i've seen commercials everywhere. almost every show i've watched has had a preview. hell, i'm watching a rerun of Laguna Beach right now and there's one!

the premiere is the day after i get back from disney. wonder who i can get to go with me? my dad would probably go see it, but i don't know if he's really in the mood to go to the movies these days. i think if i have to i'll go alone. maybe i'll even find myself a cute, sci-fi geek boy to talk to. ;)

Heh. Me too. I FINALLY saw a trailer in the theatre (after attending Every.Goddamn.Movie that a trailer was supposed to be in front of) LAST week when I went to see, of all things, the 40 year old virgin. I cheered and clapped. Which was really sad, because, of course, I was completely by myself.

I had this awful nightmare last night (based partly on some comments in bdbdb's LJ, which, don't go look at, because they're spoilery. :) Anyway, I had this dream that Universal redid the entire movie, and when I went to see it with catmint68 and dachelle, it was totally different. And awful. They even had different actors. And catmint68 was all, like, "I thought you guys told me it was awesome!" and Courtney and I were trying to explain that the version we saw this summer was awesome. It was very upsetting.

I'm so bummed because Christopher is best man in a wedding the night of the premier. So I'm stuck on a river boat in Kentucky. I'm going to have to see it when we get back home.
