thank GOD we have snarky Veronica back. i don't want to see clinging-on-Duncan's-arm Veronica. i don't want to see mouth-hanging-open-with-no-comeback-to-Logan Veronica. i want to see i-take-noone's-shit Veronica with some SNARK! she was totally that girl tonight. she pulled no punches(she saved that for the boys. ba dum bum!).
i'll start with the V/Sheriff Lamb scene. behind Veronica and Logan, these two have the best snark on the show. especially with each other. "it means you're an adult now, kiddo!" "well...that makes one of us." hahahaha... love it!
the confrontation scenes? exactly what i've been waiting for. good on RT for not just making the Logan/Duncan fight about "the girl". there's so much more there. the timeline is a little shaky for exactly how long they've known each other, but it's at least 6 years. and that's six very important adolescent/teen years. bravo to Logan for calling Duncan on what a crappy friend he was. we are not our parents, Donut. if we were, you'd be halfway interesting.
the Logan/Veronica confrontation? made all that much sweeter by half nekkid Logan. mmm mmm good... i hate to break it to you, V, but this wasn't just "business". if it were you wouldn't be that angry and you certainly wouldn't look like you're ready to cry. can we take a moment for you to stop, reflect and acknowledge your true feelings? cause that'd be greeeeeat.
oh and one thing before i forget to mention it. the opening scene? i love how all of the students in the hall except Veronica are walking fast and she's in slow-mo. nice symbolism to show that they are all way ahead of her in their college planning ways.
oh and John Enbom directed "The Long Haul"? oh you, Rick Pickett. i love the little details....
next week's ep? looks like a filler. meh.

Date: 2005-10-14 12:50 am (UTC)Kristen is so adorable. I relized this was the first televised interview I'd seen with her, and that was very nice. She's so talented, and amazing. But, Smurfette? Wow. Too funny.

Date: 2005-10-15 12:29 am (UTC)Oh, I know! How crisply written was this script? Line by line snarky Veronica! The love!

I'd go one more and say they've surpassed Lg/VM snark. Lamb/VM snark of this year equals last year's Lg/VM snark. That whole scene was just excellent!

OoO. Nice catch!

Haha. Yea, that was my reaction. 'Omg. Aaron and Curly were - Oh, Rick, your funny!'
