here's the deal. i'm not gonna cut this post because it's just my opinion on the singers/songs, but when the results stuff starts happening i will totally cut.

now. tonight was kinda meh for me. i think the girls have a hell of a lot more talent per capita than the boys. there are four stand-out boys for me.

Chris Daughtry rocked the fucking house with Wanted Dead or Alive. hothothot. seriously. Elliott Yamin? damn. i was not expecting that. a Stevie Wonder song and you nailed it, buddy. your's was the best performance of the night. Taylor, i like you. i like you a lot. i think you are an acquired taste though. you'll probably get fairly far, but i don't see you as AI material. go out and get your own recording deal, sweetie. Ace. oh Ace. you are so very pretty. you also have a nice voice, but i don't expect you to make it all the way. singing Father Figure? excellent song choice. very much fits with your style of singing.

David Radford, please get off my television screen. your crooning makes me want to jam my fingers into my ears until all i hear are my muffled whimpers.

Bucky Covington, you're awful. i'm fairly certain you were channeling Kurt Cobain in your performance tonight. please leave my tv screen.

Bobby Bennet, no. just...no. no one can sing Copacabana and be taken seriously as a competitor. i mean, really.

Sway, falsetto can be nice, but an entire song of it? for the love of god, NO!!! please be better next week. also? you were not one of the "hot ones" tonight. do not listen to Randy.

Gedeon, there's just something about you i don't like. loved your song choice though.

Kevin Covais, you're adorable, but you're not AI material.

Patrick Hall, awful song choice and i've pretty much forgotten you. bad move, my friend. bad move.

Will Makar, you're fucking adorable and i'm stealing you from puppetoflove. however, tonight's song choice did not show me the set of pipes that i know is lurking underneath there. please choose wisely next week.

to sum up, i think (hope!) David and Bobby will be gone out of this group. they just don't have it. i'm totally taking Chris, Will and Ace home with me.

I agree about the girls vs. the boys. I was really looking forward to the guys, and I was overwhemingly meh.

But I heart crooners. So I like David. *shrug* I would get rid of Bobby and Bucky. (Wish we could vote people off...)

You can't have Chris, Will AND Ace! That's totally unfair. Then again, judging from everyone's reaction that I've seen, I can have David all to myself, so maybe it's okay.

Now, while we might know that there's more to a singer than a pretty face... the voting public does tend to vote more for heart throbs. Based on that, I've been predicting that unless he just totally blows it one night, Ace is has a good shot of ending up in the final 2 or 3.

I definitely agree that Bobby should be GONE. I'd get rid of him and Sway, myself.

Chris and Ace were awesome toninght. I was meh about Ace previously but he totally won me over this time.

And I have to say I kind of want Taylor Hicks to win...because he is so original and not afraid to stand out among the rest. Plus he's so old school, its like Joe Cocker and Elvis into one.

The rest of the guys were just a dissapointment to me.
