america, you truly discombobulate me. *shakes head*

Melissa? seriously? while Bucky, Kevin and Kellie are still there? seriously??? *sigh*

as for VM, eh. is it just me or were all the characters just off tonight? it was like i was watching a parody of my favorite show where people were trying to act like my favorite characters and it was just falling flat every. single. time.

the writing was less than stellar. the guest star was atrocious. the regulars just seemed to be phoning it in. therefore, meh is all i can muster. though i did particularly enjoy V figuring out what Logan was doing with Hannah. should be fun.

the teaser? Kendall and Aaron? woo boy!! that should be interesting to say the very least.

flat, that was the word I was looking for for tonight's episode. Thank you. Although I did love Lamb flipping off the camera, which I knew about thanks to Michael in Austin, although I didn't realize it was this episode.

I agree.

My favourite part, too, was the "stop-in-tracks/about-face-plastic-surgeons-DAUGHTER?!?" moment. That was a Hee-squared.

The rest of it? Pfft. The characters were flat, and the plot was both wandering, without structure, and completely contrived.

There were a few stellar moments - Mac/Veronica interaction; Keith/Veronica "huggable" converstion... But you're right. Nothing that fired me up.

AI: Melissa's voice and personality were both appealing but knew she was doomed from the outset. Let's face it ... she hasnt been "pimped" like Kevin and Kellie, and there is just a frightening sect of people who like Bucky. I do not wish to meet this sect.

VM: I rather liked it, actually. Maybe just because it was better than another rerun? :-) Although, yeah, Kristin Cavalleri's performance was an utter train wreck. And I'm glad we got a healthy dose of Logan. I can't wait to see how everything unfolds.

You can't ever forget the words, ever. As soon as Stevie said she forgot them in rehearsal she was in trouble, that she forgot in the performanc sealed the deal. A better question is how did Ace and Lisa place 10th and 11th?

I have to say, I really hate Melissa. She looks bitchy to me. I wanted her gone last week. That said, I couldn't believe that neither Kevin nor Bucky was in the bottom three. wtf?

I was too tired when I watched VM (at ... 3:15am) to really fully analyze that sort of thing. I think it's quite possible though that I just allowed a lot of ... meh-ish stuff because I was so freaking excited about a new VM.

Also, I have a mod request for you, if you could, at [livejournal.com profile] veronica_mars. If you could delete this post, I'd appreciate it. I'm also commenting to let the poster know that I'd prefer for such issues to not be broadcast about in such a lackadaisical fashion. But, still, I'd prefer not to have general advertising in such a forum. Comments is one thing. Linking it up in a post is quite another, IMHO.

Thanks! :)

Simon Cowell predicts top three 'Idols'
NEW YORK, March 17 (UPI) -- "American Idol" judge Simon Cowell predicts the final three in this season's finals will be Chris Daughtry, Taylor Hicks and Kellie Pickler.

Cowell made his prediction for the Fox TV talent competition during a Thursday telephone conversation broadcast on Howard Stern's Sirius satellite radio show, the New York Post reported Friday.

"Let me tell you who's gonna be in the finals," Cowell said. "The bald-headed kid (Daughtry) and the guy with gray hair (Hicks)."

A few minutes later, he added, "I think the top three will be the two I mentioned and Kellie Pickler."

Around this time last year, Cowell correctly predicted Carrie Underwood would take the crown, the newspaper noted.
