every friday night until, like, october people are bringing their sweet rides and parking them in home depot's parking lot for a small car show in my town. we've been a few weeks, but last night i actually remembered to bring my camera. so i thought i'd share with you guys.

i love cars. especially old cars. especially old muscle cars. Supernatural fans, i think you can see where this is headed...

METALLICAR!!! yes, that's mom and dad waving. yes, they're goobers.

fuzzy dice! Dean should totally embrace the cheese and get fuzzy dice for the Metallicar.

shiny!

and here's shiny, red one!

my dream car aka a '66 mustang

the first of many Bel Air's

another Bel Air

ford fairlane. this car is massively long. the man's wife who owned it was sitting there and she told us that one night when he was driving it he gasped and she asked what was wrong. he told her he thought someone was about to hit him and then realized it was his own tailight. hahaha!!

1939 ford something. i can't remember. awesome car and fully restored.

yep, you guessed it. another Bel Air. this one had a price sticker in the window with all the upgrades he'd done to it over the years and how much it all cost. at the bottom it said, "understanding wife = priceless!". it was sweet.

1970 chevy super sport. awesome car. my mom was trying to talk them into selling it to her. hee!

ford fairlane. even the interior was pink! so cute!

seriously, how can you not love old cars? *purr*

yeah...they had a Z28 there too, but i didn't get a picture. there was also a sweet firebird that was a light turquoise color.

that '69 was a mistype on my part. that's what happens when you're typing an entry and being rushed out the door at the same time. it's actually a '66.

hehehe The 66 is nice, better than the 69 (forget the entire 70s & 80s, but I like the slight design differences, especially the redesigned rear of the 67-68 Mustangs.

Cool.

I think a sort of similar thing goes on at the Bob's Big Boy right next to the Warner Brothers Lot. But I haven't been around there at that time in a few years.
