Edward is the obvious choice for Bella. With Bella's hatred for shopping Jacob would be all wrong. Since he's a young werewolf he hasn't exactly gotten his temper undercontrol. This causes a lot of torn clothing. That means that Bella would have to take Jacob shopping quite a bit.

wow. i guess Bella doesn't really love Alice since she drags Bella shopping. < sarcasm> (nope, that tag doesn't close!)

the day E/B shippers stop calling Jacob a rapist can't come soon enough for me. i'ma make me a Twilight shirt that has this slogan on it, "rape, you keep using that word. i do not think it means what you think it means."

oh, just what? this fandom is def. crazier than most...at least i had crazy radar or something for the Buffy fandom. LOL

i think this fandom is crazier because so many of the fans are younger. they haven't developed proper debating skills. i've also found that most J/B shippers are mid-twenties and older. we have a few young'uns, but it seems like most are *dazzled* by sparkly vampires.

they claim Jacob was a rapist because of the kiss in Eclipse. their logic does not resemble our earth logic. (i love that i can still quote Buffy to this day.)

Buffy quoting is good and very appropriate. it is also good to use it to explain such insanity.

kissing does not = rape. but of course preaching to the choir here. having such a young fanbase does not make for good debates. it is a shame b/c it would be good to have some intelligent discussions. ah well. i am trying to avoid the fandom and just enjoy talking to my FList about it. ;)

I am really tired of the Jacob is a rapist thing, too. To piss people off I wrote Team Jacob article for my college newspaper and classified Edward as abusive according to the domestic violence association.

But not having to go shopping is a much better reason to be with someone than to say they let you have a personality, goals, and choices. WHo would want that? /sarcasm

I was reading them. I'll have to go over to sob and check out the thread. They're so funny and snarky.

I read one about the pain of heartbreak and they're meant to be together. Earth to MORON: if you're that upset and hurt about losing someone that you can't physically live without them then that is unhealthy. You can have a personality and identity outside of being a relationship. I HATE when my friends are asked to introduce themselves say their name and that they're married as though that explains everything about them. GAH!

That being said, RAPE???? What are parents and/or schools teaching kids these days? I don't even think that their youth should be an excuse for throwing that word around. That's just....stupid.

Also, why can't Jacob shop by himself? Why must Bella take him? *le sigh*
