i'm not posting here near as much as i want to. i think i've gotten lazy and used to not using more than 140 characters what with twitter and facebook status updates. i do have some RL stuff i want to post about soon, but i'm going to need a while to get it all out. so it's on the back-burner for now.

my question to you is, should i use LoudTwitter to update all my tweets to lj? i used to think it was annoying, but i've been reading them since i actually have twitter now. i figure at least this way there will be something going on in my lj even when i don't have time to post lengthy type posts. so what say you? (it's totally not going to hurt my wittle feelings if you vote no. so vote honestly.)

I'm on twitter too and sometime I'll use the importer here, sometimes I turn it off because I don't think people need to know everything that I Tweet about all the time. I'm down with reading other people's tweets here. =)

I have flisters who post all their tweets at the end of the day in one post, and I think that works well. (Better than every tweet coming up as a post.)

I voted no because I'm not a fan of those twitter posts, but of course, it's your journal, do what you want! :)

I have mine posted to LJ, but since I don't tweet that often, my updates are pretty small.

That's one of the reasons I do it. However, I wish there were more options on how often it posts tweets. I would love to have it post every 3 days or so - so there's fewer tweet posts to potentially annoy someone, but at the same time the tweets show up here and give some kind of idea of what's going on with me. That's one reason I use the lj-cut though - so it's easier for people to scroll by if they read me both places, or just don't care about twitter.

i do, for pretty much the same reason. i try and keep everything relevant, and have even tailored some tweets specifically for an LJ post later because i was lazy.

i think if you're updating, it should at least cover as many bases as it can. also, i don't have that much overlap between twitter and LJ.
