We have two machines dead right now which is causing the site to suck.
Normally, two machines out would be nothing to worry about, but these are both in the same user cluster, so it's pushing all the work to that cluster's master.
The vendor for both the problematic machines is in Seattle, about 3 blocks from the data center, so we're gonna try and get everything resolved today. (don't worry --- both machines are slaves, so there's no reason to be afraid of data loss or anything)
In the meantime, making new posts and comments is disabled for free users to lighten up the load.
