so i've been pimping Evanescence at beta and decided to do the same here. they're a kick ass band that has two songs featured on the DareDevil soundtrack. they have a very unique sound going on. the girls voice is very haunting. kind of a mixture of sarah mclachlan, fiona apple and tori amos. they then throw in some linkin park like sounds on some of the songs.

i dl a bunch of their songs off of Soulseek and they just kick ass. songs to check out? My Immortal and Bring Me to Life off of the DareDevil soundtrack.

also? check out their website for snippets off their new album. it comes out on tuesday. everyone go buy it. *g*

i looked at their tour info and apparently they were supposed to play a show here last night. i was about to curse my crappy timing such timing that's made me miss seeing Jimmy Eat World and Coldplay. the two bands i only really want to see. argh!, but i saw that the show had been cancelled and rescheduled for April 12. plus, tickets are only $7. can't beat that. now i just need to find someone to go with me. *g*

Y'know Tiggs, I was watching TV earlier today (well actually the ENTIRE day), and I saw a commercial for them and I made a mental note to download their music, because just from a 30 second commercial I got really interested! HAHAHA

yep, i was telling my mom about a band i wanted to go see and there popped a commercial on MTV2 for their album. i pointed and said, "that's the band!" *g*
