fucking hell. so...melissa ethridge is covering Greenwheel's song, Breathe. how much do you want to bet that the song gets more recognition now just because Melissa Ethridge is singing it? i fucking hate that.

i also hate when people remake songs that aren't at least ten years old. it irks the hell out of me. it started out with country music stars remaking successful pop songs and now it's just getting worse. argh!!!!!

do yourself a favor. dl the real version of Breathe by Greenwheel. they're a great little known band.

the boys at greenwheel had to give her permission to use the song. so i'm guessing they're okay with it, but i'm not. grrrr!

Well, if they wrote it and she has a hit with it, they get all the songwriting royalities. I can see them not having a problem with it. And it could end up giving them some publicity and help them that way as well. And also, it means she's heard of them a liked it.

I'm friends with a lot of people in unsigned bands, so I guess I'm biased that anything that can help the band is a good thing.

(Oh, I'm writing a spec The O.C. script. The teaser and act 1 are now posted. Seth kills me! And, well, Summer's hot. I'm a guy, what can I say. hehehe)

That's a pet peeve of mine as well. Also, I don't believe movies should be "re-made" for at least 20 years if ever. What utter crap! It's like many in Hollywood nowadays have no original thoughts in their heads. Get a new job dumbasses! *sigh and lol*
