first of all, many thanks to all who answered my post about why you have me friended/lurk. i need to reply to some of you, but i've been a little busy.

in other news, i'm trying to decide what to do. do i stay home and watch Pride and Prejudice Vol. 1 or do i go to the movies to see The Day After Tomorrow? i'll probably end up staying home since i went out last night.

my sister just called to tell me that she won me(and possibly my brother) tickets to Dancin' in the District tomorrow night. Cake is playing. i not only get free access to the concert, but free food and drinks too. only problem is rain. will it or won't it? who knows these days?

oh and...

Happy Birthday [livejournal.com profile] calen_ and Evil_Calen!!!

Tiggy, by all that's unholy, spare yourself the Day After Tomorrow. It is unmitigated crapola. Painfully bad stuff. Unless you're looking for that kind of movie experience, then by all means.

(squireboy from the Bronze/Beta, JSw at b.org, which is also by explanation of why I have you on my flist.)

you know...i had you on my flist way back when. then you never updated. so i removed you. i see you're more active now. so i've re-added you. :)

as for Day After Tomorrow, i *heart* Jake Gyllenhaal. i must support him. :)

Fair enough. I feel much more like actually updating these days rather than just keeping up with other people's news. I can't promise much more than just chatty news.

I understand about Jake. He was fine, certainly not one of the worst things in the movie by far. Plenty of other candidates for that.

Mrm-I went to see The Day After Tomorrow and it was okay. See it in a matinee and don't expect a whole lot. FX were cool, story line thin to non existent.

Pride and Prejudice Vol. 1, definitely. *points to icon*

The Day After Tomorrow is supposed to blow, majorly.

BTW, did you know that there's going to be a director's cut of Donnie Darko released in theaters soon? I'm so excited.
