i never thought i could hate a character that Chi McBride played as much as i hate Vogler. wow. what. an. ass. and next week we get a repeat. boo.

he's new (2nd or 3rd ep) Made a big donation to the hospital. Most of it going to fund a big cancer study, I think. Made donation contingent on him becoming chairman of the board or some such of the hospital. He is a control freak who has issues with House.

what raithen said. he made a big donation to the hospital and the stipulation was that he became chairman of the board. he disliked House on first site and began making that clear very soon. starting with small thing like telling House he had to wear the stupid white doctor's jacket and now moving on to making him fire one of his own people.

frankly, i think he's trying to make House quit because he knows he can't fire him. tenure. ;) not to mention he had support from two board members, dr cuddy and dr wilson. they had that conversation an episode or two ago. vogler told him it'd be easier to get rid of one of them that it would be to fire him. ass.

I NEED SPOILERS! i don't want any of them to go! although, they've turned Chase into such an ASS lately, i won't be heartbroken if he leaves. he's really the only logical choice. i want House to quit, and then Vogler to leave.

I despise both the character of Vogler AND his entire story line.

I think the writers thought they needed another running subplot besides the "diagnose, treat, diagnose, treat, patient nearly dies, figure out what's actually wrong and treat".

Lather, rinse, repeat.

I love the show and as long as they can keep up the unique medical problems (along with the mini plots with House in the clinic--which I find hilarious), I'll keep watching.

But let me repeat this: I HATE VOGLER.
