i do have to say that up until the big reveal i was feeling very uncomfortable with the way they were glossing over Logan's treatment of Veronica for the past year and a half. not to mention his assholish behaviour period.

i knew this was coming. i knew it, but it didn't make it hurt any less. damn.

Yeah, personally, I clapped my hands in glee because it made sitting through all the Logan/Veronica making out worth it. I realized they had to make it all gooey and sappy for that reveal to hit hardest. Right when she thinks that maybe there's a real relationship in her future, she gets punched in the face. I know you're a big giant shipper, though, so I will give you a *hug*.

Eh. It's not that I can't stand them together. I think it's more a reaction to the rabid fandom. I thought they were an interesting couple in the last two episodes, but then they got all schmoopy this week.

Exactly. I was afraid that they were put together to appease the fans. But Rob Thomas makes us all his puppets in his grand scheme!

The schmoopiness was needed to show how much they were getting into it. That's the way a relationship/lustship goes.

Oh, I don't know about those allegations. I mean my reaction to the rabid fandom, as in "Please God stop talking about all this LoVe business there is more to this goddamn show than just this one relationship stop making every single reaction to the episode be about making out for God's sake." (No offense to you, tiggz, I know you've got a level head on your shoulders, and you appreciate the show on its own merits. It just irks me that this ship has seemingly taken over, practically superseded the fandom proper.)

I will never look at a TV show without first glancing at my Joss's checklist of TV pain!! I knew there was a wrench, it wouldn't be the show it is without one, and I will be happy if this is as bad as it gets. He supplied the drug, okay, but he wasn't the rapist and didn't sit by and watch, right? That, I can handle. And it's not because I ship them or anything. I enjoy their chemistry, but I won't die if they aren't together. It's painful because I love their characters and the truth always hurts!

Next week ... I don't know how to wait. And UPN has the wrong promo clip. Argh!!

Yeah, I knew it would end badly. It HAD to - no puppies and butterflies for Veronica. But WHAT a great episode. It ended and Allison and I were like "noooo, can it be next week?!" So don't know who did it, but so knew Logan had something to do with the rape. And did you see next week's previews? Looks amazing - looks like Kristen Bell does some awesome acting.

I love this show waaaay too much.
