i went to best buy yesterday and ended up looking at the tv series dvds(as i always do) and came across Farscape. they have, what appears to be, a new season one box set. guess how much i paid for it...$28.99!! i'm not sure if this is a nationwide thing or not, but it was too good for me to pass up. even though i already had the first 10 eps or so bought. it was cheaper for me to buy this box set than it would have been for me to buy the last starburst editions that i needed. crazy, right?

so yeah...go to your local best buy and check it out. also? you people on my flist that still haven't succumbed to the Farscape love, this is a perfect opportunity for you. you will never find it any cheaper than this... believe me!

Maybe they've boxed together the S1 Starburst editions? 'Cause that would make sense. I know that with my Andromeda DVDs, they put each season out in five sets, and then eventually box them together in a price that makes buying the individuals quite ridiculous.

Maybe you just got very, very lucky? I certainly can't find a cheaper collected edition on amazon. Eeeesh. These things are as expensive as Star Trek DVDs.

I think you just got incredibly lucky. I checked BestBuy.com and the only full season 1 set they have is $119.00. Darn! And I got excited for a second.

I thought of you when I was watching Farscape while making my jewelry for my wedding. At that time there were 3 different seasons showing on TV in the UK. So I'm a bit versed in what happens in the first, third and fourth seasons. *g* I totally can't afford the DVDs. Why do they charge so much? They would sell so many more if they charged what they do for Stargate.
