rewatching the season, i noticed a few things. there are no real spoilers here. so if you've yet to succumb to my pimping, this won't ruin anything for you.

1. the shoes in the evidence bag that we are originally shown in the Pilot are not the shoes we are shown in Return of the Kane and for the rest of the season. they are white flip flops.

2. Veronica mentions that her mother wanted her to see a counselor in february to deal with Lilly's death, but if we go by Rob Thomas' timeline Lianne would have already been on the run by then.

3. in M.A.D. Veronica takes her car to Weevil's uncle's body shop. later that day she's taking pictures of Carmen and Tad on the boardwalk from it. yet Logan returns it to her the next day.

4. there's also Logan's disappearing/reappearing "snorkel" on the XTerra.

that's all i've got right now. anyone else notice anything they didn't notice on first(or second) viewing?

why don't I know what show you're talking about? What I mean is, a lot of people seem to be talking about this same show, and yet, I don't feel like I know anything about it.

i don't think it's made it's way to the UK. at least not legally. you should definitely find a way to watch. it's my new Buffy. not in the Veronica=Buffy way, but in the "ohmygodi'msoobsessed" way. ;)

*Gasp!* Okay, I feel like this is my duty to make sure everyone at least knows about this show. SO please. Go here. That little post introduces the show quite well. If you're at all interested, e-mail me and I'll give you info for the ep. DLs.

Huh? Not too sure what you're trying to say here.

But the car, calendar, and shoes. Yup. Yup. On the whole, I haven't found much continuity errors. But these are probably the biggest.

I can forgive the shoes thing. Because many things can be altered from the pilot of a show. Like location. In the pilot, the Mars apartment looks mightly different because it's a completely separate apartment from what they used in the rest of the series.

The car thing in MAD had really bothered me though, and was one of a couple of hijinks in that script.

In "Meet John Smith". At the very end, Veronica calls Troy and he comes out and she cries on his shoulder. 1) We never really see Veronica cry in front of other people until later in the season and 2) why would she cry on this guy's shoulder whom she barely knows? She doesn't really talk about her personal life to anyone, so how would Troy know all the details about Lianne's disappearance? Was Lianne always a drunk? I'd talk about this on the TWoP boards, but I have no desire to read alllll the way back and I've been warned once over something very minor so I'm now very careful about posting anything.

i didn't think it was out of character for her to cry on his shoulder. she was extremely emotional after having gone on a wild goose chase to find her mother. plus, i think it's probably more in character for her to break down in front of someone who doesn't really know all of her secrets. it kind of reminded me of how open a lot of people are online with things going on in their personal life when they're really not in RL.

as for the Lianne=constant drunk, i have no idea. Logan's comments in the pilot made it seem that way. *shrug*

i can't get over my threaded board squick to post or even lurk at TWoP. i remember back in the Buffy days people would get banned for starting their posts with "ummm...". that's just crazy.

I think that's a pretty good record from a show, don't you? With most shows, you can find that many inconsistencies in one episode. So that's pretty good for a whole season.
