this is feeling a little too september 11^th-ish for my liking. i do love how all the various places i visit have people checking in. funny how beta was one of the first places i thought of after i heard about the attacks. some things don't change, i suppose.

so far most everyone from that area that i know has checked in or someone has said they've talked to them. need to skim the flist to make sure of this. gathering info from beta and here it seems as though the following people are all accounted for and fine.

I only heard about the attacks around 4pm. I hadn't turned on the TV this morning and had spent most of the day in the cinema, then bumped into a friend in town who had been avacuated from the train station here (not sure if they found a bomb or just a precacution).

Got home not long ago and its reassuring to see your post and know that (hopefully all) our Bronzer friends are safe.

My sister is in London but is okay. Thank fuck.

Yup, I was back in Birmingham nursing a hangover this morning having spent last night drowning my sorrows as I didn't get the job in London I was supposed to have started this week... funny how things work out.
Having said that, I phoned my agent this afternoon and said I'd still be happy to move down there as not going to let them stop me.
Would have let people know at the Beta, but because Artie is ultra strict on blocking the UK's biggest ISP, I'm effectively permenantly barred from posting *rolls eyes*

Yeah, that would probably be fastest. Sarah has been havign getting through from her landline though (it never got installed right) and can't reach Cush from her cell phone.
