Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse wrote tonight's episode. And I am not positive, but I think that Javi may have written the next episode.

A friend calls me at 10:00. I pick up the phone and scream, "I haven't watched it yet!", because I watched VM first. She says, "I just want to tell you I thought it was the best episode they've ever aired."

It was damned good. Damon and Carlton Cuse wrote it.

I just wanted to let you know that someone posted something really...disgusting under an lj cut at [livejournal.com profile] veronica_mars saying it was a huge spoiler for upcoming episodes.

It's actually pictures of people having sex.

Thought you should know.

Sorry to harass you in your journal, but I thought it'd be faster than email. Could you delete the porn in the Veronica Mars community? Thanks.

Really? I was liking it, but after a while, I decided that they weren't really showing us anything we didn't already know. The main piece of new information was Goodwin, and that could easily have been explained in dialogue somewhere. They were mostly just showing us things we already knew had happened. I mean, it was kind of cool to see the other side of the story at times (like Boone's radio call), but it didn't feel wholly necessary, for the most part. And the lead-up to the end of the previous episode was too similar to the first three episodes of the season, which showed us the same scene about fifty thousand times.

But I do think we have a better sense of the Tailies' characters now, so that's something.

Ya know what? I agree with you. This is the first episode *I* loved all season as well. Next week looks like it's gonna be just as good too.. at least I hope it is.

It was quite refreshing to see another 'point of view' in my opinion. I think it was needed. I also think that maybe more than 1 episode should have been 'dedicated' to the tail people. I mean, the show is about the survivors right? They are suvivors too aren't they? So why not take a bit of time with their stories.

I dunno.. maybe I'm just a bit over the original crew or something. *shrugs* Hopefully it starts to pick up now.

*hugs*

I think the fresh blood is helping a lot.

Christopher loved this episode, too. And he was one of the people swearing he'd never watch again after last season.

I think Carlton and Dam,on had the honours on this one, but I could be wrong.

It was pretty good.

Though I think it would have been better as a two parter or double length episode (rather than being "extended" by, um, around OMFG! four minutes!), as some of the incidents seemed a bit rushed.

Killer opening scene.

Glad its found some love from you again this Season.

I thought it was one of the best episodes this season. That opening scene was classic! I do agree w/ Partyman that the writers could have taken more time to tell the tailies story, though. I also think they should have skipped the montage after the tailies found Jin. That was time wasted on showing us things we already knew.

I still really dislike Ana Lucia.

Next week's preview with Kate cradling Sawyers head in her lap was awesome! I can't wait! :)

i thought the montage was one of the most brilliant things i've ever seen Lost do. it also amused me that they pretty much summarized the first few minutes in four minutes since i and a lot of others repeatedly said that the first few episodes kept telling us the same thing over and over.

i have to admit that the main thing i loved about the preview was the Kate/Sawyer scene.

I haven't really been watching this season...still annoyed over the end of S1. I caught the last third of this ep, though, and it has me wondering what I missed and thinking of watching again, which is much more than the bits and pieces I've seen earlier this season have done. Like I need another tv show to watch.
