i have major issues with Veronica not cutting Weevil down from the flagpole. haven't they sort of reached a truce? or is she mad at him again for burning Logan's house down? i just really don't think she would have left him there. yes, i know it's possible she cut him down off camera, but why not give us a SO to season one and how much things have changed since then?

meh.

Kendall coming on to Donut in the hotel reminded me so much of Cordelia from seasons 2/3 of Buffy. i can hear Cordy saying every one of those lines.

the Trina/Kendall smackdown? loved every second of it, but that could be the Buffy lover in me. i wonder how non-Buffy fans felt about it. i love the look on Logan's face when Trina is asking Kendall if she's sleeping with her little brother. see?

so cute and he does look young there. also? i'm loving Logan's sweaters this season. i almost have more love for them than the jackets from last season.

i love how when Keith and Veronica are discussing whether or not Lianne was a "cool" person and V dumped the fake!baby on the counter facedown, he very subtlely turns the baby over so it stops crying. he's even a good daddy to a plastic baby!!

Charsima is so damn pretty.

Cassidy finds value in her desperation. i find jealousy in her extreme hottness.

is it just me or is Teddy Dunn less attractive this season? last season he was at least moderately hot. this season they're dressing him crappily and just generally making him look less than stellar. i wonder if that's a concious decision. i know RT asked why fans weren't drooling over TD coming out of the shower like we did for JD, but come on! surely he can see the difference...

i loved the Veronica/Celeste face-off too. i still wish they had made her the killer last season. maybe i found Duncan semi-hot last season because he was angsty. if his mommy had killed his sister, i think we'd have angsty Donut right now.

"you don't mind your dirty laundry mixing with your clean laundry, do you?" woo boy, Donut! V's already been pissed off once about being kept a secret. now she knows you've been keeping her a secret from the parentals.

the Logan/teacher scene was odd, wasn't it? why does he "always ask to go to the bathroom" that period? seems like a throw-away line, but maybe not.

Logan/Weevil fight? awesome. very real and reminded me of the Keith/Aaron fight from the finale because of the realness of it. also love that as Clemmons and security are hauling them out the bathroom, a girl has out her cameraphone to capture the moment on film.

not really a whole lot more to say about this ep except i'm glad Meg is finally coming to. oh and Clemmons is totally an evil genius and that little smirk as he's changing his nameplate is awesome. however, the MoTW only really stands up on the original viewing and is pretty boring on rewatch. definitely not one of the best eps of the season.

oh there was one other thing, that scene of Trina and V walking and talking about the Echolls and Mary? i was distracted the whole time by how much smaller Kristen Bell was. having met Alyson Hannigan i know how small she is. i mean, i know(from reading marsinvestigations.net interviews) that KB is 5'1'', but seeing those two together really put it in perspective.

I guess I'm the only one who didn't think she didn't cut him down? And that cutting away at that line was just an editorial choice, going for the quick quip? I just don't see her leaving him up there, no matter what their current relationship is, because I think she's still hoping that he too will come back from the dark side (like Logan).

Also, I figured that the scene where Logan asks to be excused was the set-up for how Weevil would know that he was in the bathroom. If he goes every single time he has that class Weevil would know when to catch him alone.

As for Duncan, I'm sort of at a loss for what they're doing with him. I've always been sort of on the fence about the character, while TD gets on my last nerve (and probably contributes to me never being able to like him fully), but this episode was just awful, Duncan-wise. There's a lot of things I can excuse, but hiding Veronica away like that? That was the last straw for me.

i know RT asked why fans weren't drooling over TD coming out of the shower like we did for JD
Really? Like, seriously? How about because their characterization is for shit and at this point we're only seeing Duncan as an attachment to Veronica? And TD can't act? For me, looks have nothing to do with it. If you don't care about a character, why would you care to see them naked?

haven't they sort of reached a truce?

No, not really. He lied to her about the Fitzpatricks' involvement. Or at least she thinks he did. I don't think they're cool at the moment.

I LOVE that icon:)

Also, when did RT ask why fans weren't drooling over Duncan post-shower?

Are you talking about that post [livejournal.com profile] siklilgrl made a while back? The "Rob" she was talking about (wrt: the shower thing) is a poster at the Soulful Spike Society, not Rob Thomas.
