i think i'm done with the latest VM fandom drama. this post is all about the love.
firstly, my favorite line of the whole episode?
"Veronica: So, this is sneaking. I've got a pantomime horse disguise you could use. Do either of you have any experience being a horse's ass?"
god, that just makes me laff and laff and laff. the first two times i watched the ep i missed the second half of the line because i was laughing so hard at the first part. that's my Veronica.
secondly, the episode was so pretty. no, really. it reminded me of the cinematography from the first season.
thirdly, RT made me not hate Jackie. let's hope this is an upward trend. i don't enjoy cringing when a character is on my screen. there are those i love to hate and enjoy watching and there are those that i hate and make watching a little unbearable for me. so bring on the former!
the pretty

cliffie, you were so underused in this ep. but you looked pretty.

while watching this scene i kept getting distracted by how green that fishtank was!

so pretty and i'm not just talking about Logan. that background is one of my favorites ever.

so pretty i must show it twice.

head touching! oh and look at the pretty green, red and orange.

there was so much color in this episode. i think it may be one of the reasons i love it so.

ooooh!! purple!!

professional smellologist

i think i might have a love affair with stained glass and this show.

an icon of this shot would be awesome.

i admit it. she's pretty.

weeeeeeeeeeevil!! i never realized how much i adore him until this scene. i was scared for him, y'all!

she's one of those people that can be pretty or not. depending on the shot. this shot? beautiful.
now i'll interrupt the pretty to post the not-so-pretty. is wardrobe pissed off at KB? or is it just me thinking that they're uglify-ing her in some of these outfits. (i was happy to see the hoodie again though.)

Date: 2006-02-07 02:17 am (UTC)This was an excpetionally pretty ep for this season. I'm really hoping it will continue. Maybe they got the memo about us missing colors? If we look on the bright side of fan interaction. :)
And yea, I'm totally in love with the background behind Logan in the hotel. I want it to be my room and be completely surrounded by the pretty. Of course I'm also totally in love with that perspective shot of the bikers all lined up. Dark, wet street prettiness.

Date: 2006-02-07 03:03 am (UTC)I think this was a Kretchmer episode. Let me check. Yep, Kretchmer.
The horse's ass line was good, but my favorites are the "Do you know what any words actually mean?" and "A funny thing happened on the way to the Forum Suites."

Date: 2006-02-07 04:24 am (UTC)If you want, I can icon that shot for you. I don't know you very well, so I don't know if you do your own iconning, but I love to do it for people, so I would certainly be happy to. Just let me know.

Date: 2006-02-07 06:00 pm (UTC)She looks like Katie Holmes back in her Joey Potter days in that cap. With bad hair. Weirdness.
