Jim was breaking my heart with the tears and voice catching. then she's calling her mother and realizes that it's okay to love him back and he comes in andandand....KISS!!!

my little 'shipper heart has been put through the ringer this week.

i have yet to post my thoughts about the VM finale. i've posted random comments in people's journals, but i think i'm still too emotional to put it all down. i plan on doing a re-watch tomorrow night. maybe i'll be able to write down my thoughts after that.

I have a confession to make. I don't like The Office. I thought I would. I wanted to. And I did at first. And it was default viewing, in the timeslot after My Name is Earl, which I adore and worship. Sometimes, The Office is really, really funny. And when it is, I love it. And I adore a couple of the characters. And I think all of the actors do a spectacular job. But it's the writing. Sometimes it's spot on. But sometimes, I find some episodes are just - dumb. And I never know which way it's going to go until I get about halfway into it, and I get irritated if I invest half a show's worth of time and then decide it's dumb instead of awesome. So after Earl, I usually go channel surfing.

I think I am an anomaly.

i haven't loved the second season as much as i loved the first(i just started watching about a month or so ago). mostly? i'm there for the Jim/Pam stuff. oh and Dwight and Jim pranks. i don't like Michael, but i'm not really supposed to. the other characters i could take or leave. this show is nothing to me without Jim and Pam though.

i think i'm an anomaly for not liking MNiE. it's okay, but i don't ever go out of my way to watch it. if it's on and nothing else is, i will.

i couldn't believe it when he told her he was in love with her! i gasped like a fool. and how much do i love that she ran to call her mom? i rewatched and you could tell her mom's side of the conversation was something like "so what did you say?" "what's stopping you?" "are you in love with him?"

Love. John Krasinski. That scene in the parking lot was beautiful. Not sure about the kiss; I am confident it won't be a shark jumping :-) But yeah, brutal cliffhang. I care so much more about Jim/Pam than I EVER did about stupid Ross and silly Rachel.

I can't wait to hear your VM thoughts. I'm leeching up everyone's thoughts as soon as they post them. Chris - If you have them, would you mind burning the rest of the season 2 to DVD for me? I will pay for DVDs and shipping. I have watched the ones you sent (thank you!), caught random ones here and there when Fox decides to show them in the middle of the night, and read recaps on TWoP to fill in the gaps. I'd like to have the complete set. If you don't have them, don't worry about it, I just thought it would be cool if you did.

btw, I haven't talked to you in a while, and I wanted to say I hope you are well, and your 5 year postiversary post made me all teary-eyed. My three year was Jan. 12, and I'm here because of you, and I'm glad of it. And very happy to still be here, talking to you.

i am well. kinda lonely and really wanting to plan a trip, but otherwise okay. i can't believe i'm not going to LA this year. it feels so weird.

i'm glad we're still here 3 years later too and know this, even though i don't comment on all of your posts i do read. i've been really lax at commenting on everyone's posts. i hate that i don't have time to scroll at work anymore.

i was just reflecting tonight how much of my flist seems to be fandom-y type posts and not a lot of RL. maybe it's finale season, but i kind of miss reading about people's days.

I saw Erin in October. I have no prospects of seeing ANYONE anytime soon. //cries//

I don't comment, either, but I have no good excuse. I've got nothing but time. I just usually lack anything witty too say. But it's okay, because with the people who matter, you just know they're there. And I know when I need to reach out, I can.
