i am really jonesing to ride some rollercoasters. the only thing i can blame it on is a rollercoaster special that was on a week or so ago and wanting to go back to disney with people i have fun with.

i just emailed my dad a link for Kentucky Kingdom's website and said "LET'S GO!!". what i really want to do is go to Cedar Point in Sandusky, OH. they have all the best(read: fast) coasters. i also wouldn't mind going to jersey and riding kingda ka. can't believe you wussed out foxant10. ;)

chi2cali? any good coasters in chi-town? alternatively, how far away is sandusky from chicago. *giggle* i'm obsessed.

I am near Knoebel's Grove, Hershey Park, and Dorney Park. All have terrific coasters...if you ever get this far north, we can go ride 'til we puke! :D

i haven't been to PA in a really long time. probably since i lived in jersey. so i'll definitely have to make it a point put it on my agenda.

Nick works at Geauga Lake, also large with the roller coaster love (and has a couple free passes) and very close to Cedar Park... which is very near.. ME!

i haven't heard of Geauga Lake. i only know about Cedar Park because it was heavily featured in that special i watched. have you ever been to Cedar Park?

Cedar Point is a good park for coasters. Haven't been there in years, but went the year they opened the Magnum 250XL - excellent coaster. Last time I was there, they had Mean Streak, Magnum 250, Iron Dragon, Double Loop, Corkscrew, and the Mining Car coaster. They may still have the Demon Drop, too. I see someone mentioned Geauga Lake. It's called Six Flags now, they bought it quite a few years ago. It's in Aurora, Ohio, not far from where I used to live. They have an old wooden coaster that used to be called the Big Dipper - another excellent coaster. If you want a lot of coasters, I'd go with Cedar Point.

I go to Cedar Point nearly ever summer. (It's relatively close to Detroit) I've been to other parks around the country, but no place has the number of roller coaster that CP has. The Magnum is still my absolute favorite. I could ride that thing all day. :)

I think last year was the first year in a while that I haven't been to Cedar Point, so I'm hoping to get a group of my friends together for a trip soon.
