i'm not even going to bother making any comments about Lost. except to say that they could kill every single character except Kate and Sawyer and i wouldn't bat an eyelash. i could watch those two stare at each other for an hour and it would be good for me.

the real reason i'm posting is to share this vid. it's a scene from Torchwood, but it's not at all spoiler-y. just gunporn at it's best.

Gah, even watching that at work with no sound and slightly jerky video, it's still too sexy for words. It helps that I've seen it enough times that the lack of sound isn't a problem - lip reading "squeaze gently..." is almost as gloriously dirty as hearing it.

Also, apparently I have a north eastern/NY accent. Only I'm English.

I always feel selfish and mean saying that the toys are mine, hands off, but I generally don't like people using my icons while they're still in use - despite tha fact that more people would get to see them if I released them into the wild. I do release them when I'm done with them though, so stay tuned.

Pretty much all non-native English speakers on my f-list (including me) got "the northeast" on the accent meme. Does that tell you something?

Though when I was in Australia, one of my teachers told me I had an american accent. And a german guy I met when I went skiing asked if I were british. >_< I don't think I have a specific accent... it's just very frakked up, and how I speak always, ALWAYS depends on who I'm talking to, and who I've been listening to over the past few days (I tend to speak british after watching torchwood/Dr who and very american after Lost/VM/GA. And it also depends on what country I am in (I feel my English going fubar here in France... it's le weird.. it also gets weird when I am in Sweden for a longer time.)

Heh, I'm getting to the point where they could kill of any of the characters and I wouldn't mind. I am about two intensely boring episodes away from dropping the show in realtime (or...downloading the next day, that is) and waiting to marathon it if I so choose. I've already decided to do that today with Jericho and it feels so lovely and freeing.

Meanwhile Torchwood. I have to say, I was way into Nine and Ten and watched both of their seasons, but I do better with those shows if I leave off for a bit and then download a lot and marathon it, watching half of the season at a time and download as the rest of the eps show up. I suspect that I'll have the same experience with Torchwood, so I'm holding off for now.
