okay, i concede. i'm on the Timmy Riggins train. when he went after that other guy for talking smack to Smash on the field i couldn't help the "oh timmy" from coming out of my mouth. Smash and Riggins relationship is much like a sibling relationship. it's okay if they talk shit to and about each other, but it's REALLY not okay for somebody else to do it.

also? Matt and Julie make my heart go pitter patter. so sweet!!











remember how i said Rudy was going to be my AI boyfriend? i'm gonna go ahead and snag Philip and Chris(who may give Justin Timberlake a run for his money) too. i also really like Blake, but i'm reserving judgement until i really hear him sing. if this was a comedy show, Chris Sligh would win hands down. he cracks me up. i hope he sticks around for a while. don't think he has the pipes to be THE American Idol, but he's entertaining if nothing else.

all in all, i'm calling this a boys year. none of the girls are very stand-out to me at the moment. whereas the boys seem to be brimming with talent. last year i predicted Katharine McPhee would be the winner, if not one of the top two. which i was semi-right about. i also predicted last year would be a girl dominated year. not so much. so we'll see how it goes this year.

FNL was amazing tonight. And Riggins continues to own my soul. I flove him. And he started the whole brawl for Smash!!! And did you see that tackle he threw?? Damn.

They really do have an interesting relationship, and I like that it's been explored a little bit more in the last couple of episodes. It's been kind of ignored ever since the Pilot, but I'm glad that it's been given a little more substance.

Oh, and Matt/Julie = most adorable ever.

I know it's all edited and everything, but from all we saw, I was REALLY surprised that they put through Antonella and not Marisa. Also surprised to see Sundance go through.

ITA about the boys v. girls. Except for Melinda, who I think is fantastic. But I want Philip. And Chris Sligh. You can have Rudy;)
