some things just never change. still can't stand Elfie and Tim's commentary on gymnastics. SHUT UP, already! i'd rather hear Bela's inane rambling than these two. you don't have to fill every second with your stupid opinions about every thing. no, really.

I miss those two so much too! I need Svetlana and her diva ways. Always.

I try hard to stay neutral to all things Olympic, so I'm never really "OMG GO USA USA USA!" (I hate bringing national pride into athletic events, even though that sort of defeats the purpose of the Olympics...), but I feel you on the commentary. Actually, most of the commentary has been horrendous this year.

I watch the CBC coverage thank you Comcast Seattle and it is waaaayyy better than the Terrible Trio. Of course, their coverage tonight was all China/US centric would have love to see even one Russian or Romania routine but at least their commentators were okay.

Plus, I get to watch real live and not three hour West Coast delay "live".

Ugh! They really were particularly obnoxious last night, weren't they?? But the commentary all around this year has been a little sketchy. Almost gossipy in a lot of cases. And I mean, I read Defamer as much as the next girl, but there's a time and place, you know?

I actually don't mind their commentary. They're like old friends at this point. I really hate the NBC guy, though, that sits with them and adds inane remarks.

Bummed about the results, but really psyched for the all-around.

There's no way that half of those Chinese girls are 16.
