my favorite part is the part i bolded. seriously, if you've never listened to a David Cook song before now, listen to this one. (camera work is a little shaky at first, but hang in there. it's totally worth it.)

technically, there is an official recording. it was with the band before he went solo, MWK, which includes two of his current band members. however, that version has Andy Skib singing because he was the lead singer of MWK. you can listen to that version here. (i like Dave's more, personally. i think he puts more emotion into it.)

see that is what i mean. how can someone sing a song like that and NOT have as much emotion as DC? that is crazy. preaching to the choir here about David's voice. duh! ;)
