swimmer's ear
Jan. 5th, 2005 08:38 pmanyone have any bright ideas on how to get water out of my ear? i've tried the shaking of the ear with my finger thing and i've tried shaking my head. no luck. it's really irritating me.
also have a headache.
but Lost? was fantastic! yet again they answered some questions while bringing up yet more. love that.
also? work was much better today. finally getting the hang of the new system.

Date: 2005-01-06 04:35 am (UTC)According to a couple of otolaryngologist sites suggest:
The safest way to dry your ears is with a hair dryer. If you do not have a perforated eardrum, rubbing alcohol or a 50:50 mixture of alcohol and vinegar used as eardrops will evaporate excess water and keep your ears dry.
(If you end up with any kind of discharge or hearing remains blocked, you might have to get antibiotics for your ears. But I hope just drying them out works! :-)
