the new Rob Thomas cd? excellent. i've only heard five of the songs because of the shuffle on my ipod, but i've liked every single one.

oh and while i'm pimping music you should all check out republic. there are three song downloads available. It's a Shame is my favorite. i have whereistheluv to thank for bringing my attention to this band. she used it in a L/V fanvid.

i'm also falling in love with Bloc Party. i have a few of their songs uploaded on my ipod, but i think i need to just buy the entire album.

let's not forget Anna Nalick. she's absolutely fantastic too.

What are you waiting for, chick? That whole album ROCKS -- you can't limit yourself to just 5 of the 12!! Of course, I gave up hitting shuffle once my song total broke a thousand.

Also, in the "6 Degrees of hijinx" game (so named by the_partyman -- I went to high school and graduated with the producer of the album: Matt Serletic. He is also producer for matchbox20 (actually, he was the one who found them in Orlando) and he is President of Virgin Atlantic ;) How ya like me now?

If you watch the DVD (which is on the flip side of the actual CD -- if you actually bought the CD, instead of downloading it, that is), there is a lot of Matt in it. And a lot of Rob, too *sigh*

the Robert Downey Jr CD. dont laugh. he is really surprisingly good.

Bloc Party are excellent. Banquet is a fine single. Off the top of my head, Kaiser Chiefs and Athlete are good bands at the moment as well.
